This website will offer merchandise of The Bathers. This 5 piece band are from Glasgow in Scotland and have recently released their 7th album and have been recording & performing since 1987.

In the OTHER CDs section you will find a number of semi-official CD recordings which are for sale. This is done with the bands co-operation and permission.Both the live and studio recordings can be considered as "bootleg" quality although some are very near the mark. The live recordings consist of mainly soundboard recordings mixed with sound from hall mics, some are plain soundboard, and some are plain microphone recordings. The early studio stuff is from cassette mainly and the later stuff from DAT and have been cleaned up and eq`d to give the best sound possible. Please note that the cds featured on the OTHER CDS page are NOT the only recordings available and you should look for the links on that page to the full list of what is available.


(All of the above was written some 8-9 years ago and since then there has been no output from The Bathers. There are constant rumours of a "new album" but so far nothing has materialised. Chris Thomson has written lots of new material and we can only hope that some of this material surfaces soon. Until then it`s in the lap of the angels. )
